Take this 2-3 minute survey and you can be provided with a list of Lafayette classmates who are in the same class, major or school as you. This list can be used to connect for study groups, comparing notes, getting handouts after absences, or simply to touch base. In addition, as scheduling for next semester approaches, this list will give you a chance to communicate with other residents about which classes and professors to watch out for, as well as providing an opportunity to get advice from people in the building who might know about the classes you’re thinking of taking.
In addition, residents interested in forming study groups will be given a chance to win a FREE PIZZA for their study session during midterms and finals. Winners will be randomly selected, and the number of pizzas distributed will depend on the number of responses.
To join, simply click on the link below and fill out the quick survey. Remember to use official terminology when entering majors and class information. Thanks for your time, and I hope you find the process as useful as possible.

All 3 parties played an important role historically in the shaping of the African-American identity. Join us for a discussion panel that will provide you with direct accounts of history from people who were affiliated with notable figures such as Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X, and Huey P. Newton. You don’t want to miss out on a night that history will be made as these three parties come together under one roof for the first time.

But whatevsies.
Pineapple Express will be playing this Thursday, 7p, in the Lafayette Events Room. Yeah, I’ll admit I tried to stalk James Franco and invite him to our viewing, but my plans failed miserably. To apologize for the delay in getting this program together, I’ve come together with co-Sponsors Zeta Psi and SOLID Hall Council to organize an epic dinner. 200 White Castle Sliders. Spread the word. But, try to stay and eat. Because if you bounce, that’ll make us all sad.
An RA Mustfa Hosted Event
Your lovely Hall Council has done it again! By pairing up with Water, Broome, Hayden, as well as those lovely folks down in IRHC we have managed to bring you a Ski/Snowboard Trip to the winter wonderland that is Hunter Mountain for the extremely low cost of:
(Original price – $100 – That is 75% off!! What a deal…)
What will you get for this hard earned money of yours you ask?
Well if you’re a seasoned pro, you will be receiving a ski or snowboard rental and an All-Access Lift Ticket to any trail the mountain has to offer.
If you’re a newbie and can’t even tell if you’re goofy or not, you can sign up for a Beginner Package which includes a ski or snowboard rental, a group lesson and access to all of the Lower Mountain lifts.
**Also good to note, if you happened to have your ski/snowboard equipment with you, the price of your co-pay drops to a $15!
All four Residence Halls will be departing from Lafayette at 6:30AM on Sunday March 1st. We will arrive at Hunter Mountain (located Upstate New York) at approximately 9:30AM. There you will be given your rental/lift vouchers for a day of fun in the snow. We will then all meet at the bus again at 4:30PM for a hopeful (not including city traffic) arrival at 7PM, back at your home sweet home in Laf.
If you want to go, hurry up and sign up because only the first 13 people will get to go! However, if you see that you’re number 14, keep on signing up and we’ll be sure to put you on the waitlist. If you see that you are one of the first 13, you’ll have to drop you $25 off to either our lovely ACDE Tera in the Managers Office by Wednesday at 5pm or the LATEST to your equally lovely Hall Council President, Nick, and Social Chair, Suzy who will be waiting in the managers office from 8pm to 9pm that Wednesday.
If you can’t commit to either time, please let us know and we’ll find another time to pick up your co-pay. But you MUST have the co-pay to us by 9pm on Wednesday otherwise we WILL ASK THE NEXT PERSON ON THE WAITLIST. If you sign up and have dropped off your co-pay and decide for some reason or another that you do not wish to partake in this wonderful adventure, the only way you will be able to get your money back is if we can secure another person to take your space….
When you come to drop off your co-pay, be advised that you will have to leave your contact information (name, phone number & emergency contact). You will also have to sign a liability waiver upon boarding the bus on Sunday morning otherwise you will not be allowed to go.
Now that you’ve finally read through all the boring, logistical information on this blog hurry up and sign up before your spot is gone!
